Our TOP 10 indoor plants for offices full of life this year
Here is our selection of the most used and popular plants that we regularly install as part of our “Plant Rental with Care” program.
STRELIZIA
Also known as the 'Bird of Paradise', this is a fascinating plant that can transform any office space into an oasis of exotic beauty and elegance. Its large, shapely leaves add a touch of luxury to any space.
It thrives even in dimly lit spaces. It flowers for a long time, sometimes for several weeks where you can enjoy its beauty.
FICUS LYRATA
This Ficus is also known as the Fiddle Ficus, attractive with its large, glossy, and distinctively shaped leaves that immediately attract attention. It cleans the air perfectly and brings a healthier environment into the room. With its elegant appearance and statuesque build, Lyrata is the ideal plant for modern offices. It can stand alone or be part of a larger group of plants.
HOWEA
An elegant palm, also known as Kencie, which is ideal for larger spaces. Howea has long, graceful, and gently arching leaves that give the space a touch of tropical paradise. Its leaves bring softness and movement to the interior.
DRACAENA RIKI
This plant is known for its narrow long leaves with distinctive green and yellow stripes. This colourful look adds freshness and dynamism to the space, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of any office. With proper care, it can thrive in less favourable conditions. That's why it's the right one for IT offices where light is sparse :-) Dracaena Riki can be placed both either on the desk, or on the floor, depending on its size.
SANSEVIERIA (various cultivars such as Black coral, white moon, fernwood punk, etc.)
Sansevieria has distinctive, vertically growing, sword-shaped leaves that give the space a modern look. The leaves can be green, yellow-edged or striped, adding to the visual appeal. These plants are extremely hardy even for darker spaces. They make a great effect when planted in rows of identical pots.
AGLAONEMA
Aglaonemes are known for their colourful foliage that brightens up any space. We use them extensively in beds built directly into furniture. We work with the popular Cintho queen cultivars with large oval leaves with distinctive green and silvery white stripes. The leaves have a luxurious glossy finish that adds a touch of elegance to the room. Silver Bay is one of the most popular cultivars due to its broad, oval leaves with distinctive silvery stripes and dark green edges. Maria is characterised by its dark green leaves with distinctive silvery grey stripes that create a beautiful contrast. All cultivars tolerate shady conditions well.
ZAMIO ZENZI
This compact plant is ideal for smaller spaces and has been growing in popularity in recent years. It is very elegant in appearance. The leaves are also slightly curved which adds to the visual interest. They are often used directly in built-in furniture to visually divide the working space.
PHILODENDRON SCANDENS
Its heart-shaped leaves give the plant a romantic and aesthetically appealing appearance. With proper care, it can grow very quickly, making it a great choice as a climbing plant for various trellis divisions in open spaces. Also used as a table plant, placed in built-in furniture, or on a table, it forms rich green clusters.
SCHEFFLERA ARBORICOLA or AMATE
Schefflera is known for its hardiness and ability to grow quickly. Its abundant umbrella-shaped foliage gives it a unique and attractive appearance, brightening up any workspace. Placing multiple plants of the same height next to each other is a great way to create massive green walls for visual division.
MONSTERA DELICIOSA
This iconic plant is known for its large glossy leaves with large leaf cutouts that give it an exotic and highly decorative appearance. It is a real gem and a great design accessory for the modern office. Place it as an individual plant in larger spaces where its beauty will stand out.
With these plants, we create a working environment that is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also healthier and more pleasant for all those who spend a large part of their day in their offices or other commercial spaces.
